Abstract: The paper presents an overview of the current status of Multilevel Flow Modeling (MFM). MFM is a methodology for functional modeling which is highly relevant for design of operator support systems and control systems. The paper presents the concepts of MFM and illustrates central aspects of MFM by an example. A brief discussion of main topics in ongoing developments of MFM is included.
