Abstract: A hybrid-type diagnostic system to give a final diagnostic result by integrating the results of sub-systems is one of promising ways to develop a flexible diagnostic system. This article describes the general configuration of a hybrid-type diagnostic system and presents the techniques for the important topics of how to integrate the diagnostic results of sub-systems and how to select suitable signals for diagnosis. The article also introduces the outline of a hybrid diagnostic agent system for the fast-breeder reactor, “Monju”.
Keyword: diagnostic system; hybrid system; integration of diagnostic results; selection of signals
