Thanks so much for your comment! I totally support gender equity, and resent the intrusion of sexual politics into modern feminism. Please check out some current posts and join the discussion!

Daniel, meet lion’s mouth.
I must say that I was looking forward to this date. Bachelor Number Eighteen was a quiet mystery, and I was in the mood for some sleuthing.

Completely preventable? I hesitate to go that far, but in terms of taking care of herself she could have done better by using more sense.
He sent me a text in the afternoon asking where we should go for dinner, requesting somewhere “nice and relaxed”. I was already partaking of a few beers with some colleagues at the Bavarian Bier Cafe. It seemed like a nice place.

I suppose I could be caught in some sort of police action and shot (not common in New Zealand, but possible) but by staying away from America I greatly reduce my chances. For a movie example think Bruce Willis in Die Hard 3 with his sandwich boards in Harlem.

ME: Well we are having beers at the Bavarian Bier Cafe. It’s pretty cruisy here.

HIM: Like shorts thongs and tshirt cruisy? Will your work mates be there?

Daniel, meet lion pit.
ME: Dude I’m wearing a suit and heels. Please don’t wear thongs! :) My workmates are leaving at 7.

I must be confused here Jason. You acknowledge that she walked freely into the lion pit, yet the situation was not completely preventable? So you hesitate to go and say that she could’ve made the choice to not walk into the lion’s pit?

HIM: Haha sorry thought you may have gone home after work first. Ok I shall be a little more appropriate.
