I am suprised that my comment seems to have provoked dismay. Reptition does not improve my argument, so I will not repeat myself. Instead I will suggest that in the 21st Century Rape as a concept is really meaningless. A sexual assault should be treated as any other assault. Its sexual element being immaterial. In support of this view I have none other (de facto) than Blackstone’s Commentaries on The Laws of England.
