As for your question – the designation of satire is applicable to the first half of the book only. The second half is generally accepted as apocalyptic and serves as a prophetic indictment of foreign rule and a prediction of a better rule to come. It’s this theme which unites the two halves of the book. Also I think yol;7821#&ul find that this genre designation explains the “son of man” thing.
